The offence took place between 9.50pm and 10.30pm on Monday 6th April at the Lock, Stock and Barrel public house in Northbrook Street, Newbury.

While staff were cashing up, a man entered by the front door and went upstairs to a private office. He was seen two to three minutes later, this time with a coat hood covering his head, leaving the building by the front door. Staff a short time later found that a quantity of cash had been removed from the office.

The offender is white, in his early twenties, 5ft 10ins, slim with dark blonde hair. At the time of the offence he was wearing a thigh length bomber-style jacket which had a hood with a fur trim.

If you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
