Newbury - Hidden Treasures - Murals currently covered up in Kennet Shopping

There are nine murals on three panels, currently covered by cinema posters and depict the history of Newbury from Roman Times through to the Industrial Age. The murals were specially created for Kennet Shopping back in the late eighties when the extension to the original Sainsbury's Supermarket was completed.

Is the artist/designer known of these panels? They must have been commissioned and likely by a local artist.
