It would appear that we are not the only one's on the EU naughty step. Clearly the Austrian voters were in danger of deciding their own fate in their recent Presidential elections so someone had to step in and rig the vote. Unfortunately no one told their judicary to behave as if all was well and they have declared the outcome invalid and the vote to be held again. Quite extraordinary. Democracy must prevail.

Us in West Berkshire have a bit of a problem when it comes to criticising other County's election procedures, particularly if one lives north of Thatcham!

Too True Old Goat. We don't even get the luxury of a re-run when process is found to be faulty. Mind you this is not quite as bad as re-running referendums until the desired result is achieved :-) .
The election of Prime Ministers may prove to be suspect as well.
