I just could not believe my eyes this morning when returning to Newbury from Andover.
A policeman with a hand held speed gun stood at the bottom of the hill at Hurstborne Tarrant. It was pouring with rain and the wind was blowing a gale, yet he still stood there trying to catch some poor unsuspecting motorists.
Was this a priority given the current situation with flooding?
They allocated this task weeks ago,and come rain or shine, they stuck to it!!
