Good to see someone doing something about this antisocial menace. Perhaps this is the answer to our councils financial problems - given the amount I see each day there should be a fortune in fines to be made?
True, but at least shogs dit washes away and rots down unlike fag packets, coke cans etc.etc.etc. Whilst on the subject, what species of idiot collects it in a doggy bag, ties it up and then leaves that or throws it on a hedge? Those who do that need treatment more than a fine; must be the sort of people you see on reality tv shows who collect it.
Walking up the Enborne Rd from Pound Street today towards he Mencap Centre (nice day so left the car at home) the path had several piles of dog mess at various locations that had been left there untouched by the dog owners. One in particular was large and some poor unfortunate had obviously trodden in it. It really is time such owners were prosecuted under the by-laws pertaining, fined named and shamed. A few heads on poles metaphorically speaking should dissuade them from this anti-social behavior, because that is what it is. Left untouched on their collars they will continue to offend more and more as others follow their example.
I'd suggest anyone littering or fouling should be prosecuted. Let's get the Council Wardens handing out tickets too; the state of round here in Newbury suggests if they did that, they'd be a profit centre rather than a cost. >:(
