Title: Newbury - Offenders smash hole in roof in Andover Road burglary

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Newbury.

The incident took place between about 12.15pm and 3pm on Thursday 31st March in the Andover Road.

Offenders used a ladder from a neighbouring property's garden to gain access to the victim's roof. A large hole was then smashed in the roof to gain entry to the property. Jewellery was stolen.

Anyone with information about this incident should contact investigating officer PC Benjamin Train, of Newbury Local CID, via the 24-hour enquiry line 101.
