Must be the 70s because the multistory by the council offices is still there and it looks like the Kennet centre is still the old concrete one with the bus station on the corner.

I think probably not later than 1975 as it appears that the Flower House corner hadn't yet been rebuilt.

The Lion,West st is the old building,too....dunno when it was rebuilt.

Good spot Uncle...also I see Elliott's factory still very much standing. I believe they closed in 1975 though I daresay the buildings remained for a year or two after. You can also clearly see a gap in the buildings in Oxford Street - seem to remember this was a garage forecourt called Martin & Chillingworth.
